KACTE Leadership Fellowship Program
The KACTE Leadership Fellows Program is one part of KACTE’s commitment to professional development and improving CTE by enhancing teacher quality. It is designed to provide professional development, policy knowledge and leadership development to new and current KACTE members.
Through the lens of the ACTE High-Quality CTE program of study, the KACTE Leadership Fellows Program, is designed to:
- Provide a leadership development program for Kentucky CTE educators in KACTE and assist individuals in further developing their leadership skills in CTE;
- Create an opportunity for CTE educators to become familiar with and participate in the processes used by policymakers in the development and implementation of laws, regulations and other public policies at the local and state levels;
- Identify, train and motivate a cadre of leaders who will continue to position KACTE as a leader in developing an educated, prepared, adaptable and competitive workforce.
